The perfect outdoor adventure
for the active family - with a chance to raft, canoe,
hike and bike, and more...
After a border crossing and
scenic drive we set up our lakeside camp in Paul Lake
Provincial Park in the heart of British Columbia.
Take a stroll along the waters edge or refresh
yourself with a swim in the mountain water. Surrounded
by glaciers we make our way over Rogers Pass and into
Yoho National Park.
Explore the Emerald Lake area or
stroll the many nearby trails. Yoho is home to the
Kicking Horse river and an exhilarating whitewater
rafting adventure for the whole family (optional).
Banff National Park has it all - ride the cable car
to the top of Sulphur Mountain where you can take
in a 360 degree view of the surrounding landscape.
At the bottom, soak in the mountain's natural hot
springs before a fun family night in town.
We'll have time to explore the turquoise
waters of Lake Louise or take a hike to the tea house
and be rewarded by the best chocolate cake in Canada.
En route to Jasper National
Park, we drive along the Icefields Parkway, perhaps
the most beautiful road in the world. Strap on your
crampons for a fun and safe guided-walk on Athabasca
glacier.
Despite its
remote location Jasper buzzes with energy. Rent bicycles
for an easy ride along mountain lakes, streams, and
meadows. Catch a glimpse of an elk or a bighorn sheep
on your hike, or get a taste of Canadian hospitality
wandering the streets of Jasper.
The scenic
Yellowhead Highway brings us to the edge of Wells
Gray Provincial Park. Eat a bison burger, take a horseback
ride, canoe the wilderness, and stand on the edge
of Helmcken Falls. Heading west, Vancouver's beauty
looms on the horizon as we approach the coast of British
Columbia.
This vibrant city offers something
for everyone - rich Native American history, beautiful
parks and exciting streets of museums and shops. Explore
Gastown and Canada Place, cycle or stroll through
the seaside Stanley Park, one of the largest and most
beautiful city parks in the world. Saying goodbye
to Canada, we head back to Seattle where our adventure
ends.
