This 8 day tour of Costa Rica's most famous and dynamic spots is sure to dazzle any time-pressed adventurer.

From the nesting grounds of the green sea turtle on the Caribbean to the slopes of the active Arenal Volcano to the beautifully curled waves of the Pacific, this jam-packed trek offers one jewel after another!

From the Costa Rican capital of San José, travel northeast to Tortuguero, one of the few breeding grounds for the green and hawksbill sea turtles. Along the way, take a boat cruise and marvel at the diverse wildlife. Stroll the beaches for a unique glimpse of the nesting grounds (with luck you may see turtles between June and September) and then take to the jungle to view the varied bird life.

West from here, venture to Volcán Arenal, one of the most active volcanoes in the hemisphere. Enjoy the afternoon hiking and then spend the evening at one of the geo thermal hot springs in the area listening from a safe distance to the volcanic rumblings that never cease to surprise.

Get some rest after the soak in the hot, therapeutic waters and continue the journey over the northern mountain range to Monteverde. We may travel by boat, horse and our own feet (optional) to this famous cloud forest reserve or travel via the minibus to Monteverde. If you are incredibly blessed, you may even spot the resplendent Quetzal - the most elusive and mythic bird in all Central America.

In Monteverde, we will make time for you to participate in a canopy tour. Zip along the tree tops at rushing speeds while the jungle seems to mock you with its exotic sounds. And what better place to finish this condensed exploration of Costa Rica than the world-famous Manuel Antonio National Park.

Here you will find unspoilt jungle with hidden-away beaches waiting to be explored. Spot the two-toe sloth or the swinging squirrel monkey and finish your trek with one final session of body surfing on the reliable waves of this beautiful beach. A late afternoon return to the capital concludes this breathtaking tour of Costa Rica.
